The world is becoming increasingly concerned with water -- the most precious resource. Far too many people lack access to clean water. Without water there is no life...and without clean water there will be death.

That's why LIFE Outreach have set their sights on providing clean, safe drinking water for families and entire villages all over the world. You can help share a solution that can save thousands of lives.

Create a t-shirt design inspired by the theme "Water for LIFE."

Here are the requirements:
• The words "Water for LIFE" somewhere big on the design
• LIFE is purposely in all caps
• The URL www.missionwaterforlife.com somewhere smaller

The winner of this contest will receive a $300 cash prize! This tee won't be sold on C28, but we're making the prize well worth it! This contest ends May 9th, 2013.

We're extremely pleased to announce that Canvas winners will now receive $5 for every t-shirt sold on C28.com, or $2.50 when the t-shirt is marked down.

To make such a big jump in compensation required that we discontinue digital print process (made-to-order, direct to garment), on all designs going forward. So Canvas t-shirts will now be printed at a lower cost and at a better quality.

Many of you have been with us from the very beginning. We thank you so much for your prayers and support over the years. Many of you are new and we appreciate your enthusiasm. We hope you are blessed by the new compensation, and we hope that it's the first of many steps we take to make Canvas even more of a blessing to you, our artists, and to our customers who admire the art and what it stands for. We pray Canvas always remain an entity fixed on glorifying God with the creativity that He's given us.

So, to clarify:

• If your design is selected as a winner you'll receive $5 every time your tee design sells on C28.com!
• If your design sells for less than $10, you'll receive $2.50 for every tee sold, instead of $5.
• A winning design may qualify for an additional $200 bonus if C28/Canvas decides to sell your winning design to other retailers. You will be notified before the design is made for other retailers.
• The new compensation will apply to all designs submitted after March 13, 2013!
• CanvasThreads.com has the right to change royalty rates at any time.

Look at the Leaderboard page and you'll see that pop-culture related tees are what dominate the top of the list. This contest gives a window of opportunity to proclaim Christ to people by using a topic they understand. Just as Jesus spoke in parables and stories that were culturally relevant, your challenge is to design a culturally relevant tee.

The season we celebrate our savior's birth is on the horizon. And that's our chance to proclaim to the world what it's all about! Christmas is all about Jesus! "Unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given." It's amazing to consider that our omnipotent, omnipresent Lord entered into our history as a Man to rescue the human race. Some often forget that this is the reason for the season, or don't know the story at all.

We have nothing against good ol' Saint Nick — we, like all believers, want all glory to go to God. May the designs of these tees compel others to think about the birth of Christ every year the season rolls around! The last day to submit your design is November 14th, 2012.

How often do you see someone battling cancer and wish there was something tangible you could do to make a difference? Well, this contest gives Canvas Artists an occasion. In the US alone, 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer, 1 in 6 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer, and roughly 12,000 children will be diagnosed with cancer in 2012. These numbers could be drastically reduced with awareness and education because most forms of cancer are highly treatable upon early detection.

Your challenge is to design a cancer awareness tee that gives all glory to God! Winners will get a $50 gift certificate to C28.com.

We want to use the winning tees of this contest to bring awareness, encouragement and most importantly trust in Jesus Christ. A portion of each tee sale will be donated to F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Christian Cancer Care, a ministry that offers support, comfort, and encouragement to those affected by cancer.

With presidential elections around the corner and the world of politics being such a hot topic (what's new?), it's easy to get anxious or worried about the cares of this world. It's times like these where others should notice in us a peace that passes understanding and ask, "why don't these guys look worried?!" Well, we know that our hope does not lie in a political party, a presidential candidate, nor in the employment rate. Our hope is in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

For this contest, design a political tee that glorifies God. Winners will receive a $50 gift certificate to C28.com!

The criteria for the contest is wide open, but here are some ideas we'll throw out there for consideration — directions you can go: presidential quotes, upcoming elections, Israel, current events, 9-11 memorial, etc.

We know this contest can easily become fuel for ardent conversation — please let your conversations always be full of grace, seasoned with salt (Col 4:6).
