Kolton, I am impressed with your easy going nature here on taking a critique. Most get their feathers ruffled. I do like this and agree that the suggestions would help to improve it. Still high marks for me.

@Corey: Yeah. I understand what you're saying. Too many elements are distracting from the message. I totally agree with you on the flourishes. I think slanted lines would be more suitable for the future look. Thanks for the feedback!

agree with peak. i also do think there are a couple too many things going on. you got what appears to be a moon, a 3d treatment, the sliced treatment, and those vintage flourishes. if anything i think the vintage flourishes don't fit because the whole thing has a futuristic vibe. while aesthetically it may look "cool", in your future work, think about how to make the whole thing a little bit more cohesive. if the message is "saved by grace no matter how broken", focus on that and try not to distract from it with too many "cool" treatments. hope that makes sense?

I really like this Kolton. My only critique would be to bring the text closer to the circle slightly while also reducing the font size and kerning a bit. But overall this looks Great.
