I'm diggin' this big time. I would add the bottom piece and maybe fade the colors like you have said, but it is well composed.

@David- Now that I think of it, the cross would look better if it had the bottom piece. :) Just something I overlooked. Also, maybe the colors would look better less saturated or even monochrome? It might add to the retro-ness. Thanks for the feedback!
cool idea, I didnt get it til I read davidgaddys comment. I noticed the black border missing at the bottom too. I like all the colors the way it is but I am wondering what it would look like with less =] very cool though!
Ha! I like it but it took me a second for it to register. I don't really dig on the rainbow cross, but I understand the Apple reference there. Any reason the black border doesn't extend across the bottom of the cross?
