Perhaps if the circle was as it is shown on the outside? I think it might match the copyright symbol better that way. But I do like it!

I really like that idea and the design itself, Knoll. However I would not have recognized it as a copyright sign without your explanation. I guess because we are so used to seeing that symbol in superscript next to a word, phrase, or image.
