it took me awhile to see the hole in the hand, maybe something like blood around the hole would make it more clear.
Thanks John, I believe this was a bare apparel template from Gomedia. The rest of the templates I throw together myself. I am thinking of designing a mock-up template that the entire community can download for use. Just something i was thinking about doing to help people out.
Awesome shirt! I'm really impressed at how many designs you crank out. -On a side note, what templates are you using for the shirts?
Amazing!! Edgy, cool, and unique! :D
well.... i did try... but then i never found a way to do it. then i checked back every once and a while and then i found myself writing a bunch of stuff again. oh well.
Impressive! I'm in agreement with Corey though about the font personalization. Most people, especially on Canvas will fail to pick up on though. Great work nonetheless.
DARN YOU COREY!!!!How many times must you remind me to personalize my fonts?!?!?!?I forget everytime. I completely agree with you on the matter, but It slips through the cracks every time.-------------BTW I thought you said somewhere that you were deleting your account?
FIRE IN THE HOLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great work, bro! :)
Hey thanks for your comments on my designs. God has gifted me with the ability to draw. I love drawing on paper and recently got the bamboo with ps elements. I like it a lot but still am learning how to use it. So, almost all of my shirts are hand drawn using bamboo and elements. :)
Thanks zack for ur kind words bro. Really appreciate it. Ur portfolio here is amazing. One of the best here.
hahahah @ Chris Korstjens. I can see the confusion with the grenade. It used to have the hammer and pull pin, but it just looked dredfull on the design...Looked like a twig in the hair of a princess. The image is SUPPOSED to depict my personal vision of a holy grenade. A grenage emphasizing its cross tattoo. A grenade that explodes with the hand of God. The hole, representing the nail that was driven through it, serves as a reminder. The leaves used to tie into spiritual fruit, but I stole the idea and will be using it for a completely different shirt portraying spiritual fruits. So now, the leaves are design elements and have absolutely nothing to do with the verse...Butttttt, the spiritual fruit shirt will make clear what i originally intended to do, so satay tuned....Thanks for the comment
I stared at this for a long time before reading the description to see if I could figure it out. So bonus points for an eye-catching/question-raising design. But then I read your description and found out that I was completely wrong. I thought the grenade was a microphone at first! Haha that was wrong! So, the concept is difficult to grasp. Also, are the leaves there as decoration or do they mean something? And why is there a circle cut out of the hand? HOWEVER, with all of that aside, I really like this shirt design and I hope it goes over well as so many of your amazing designs do. :)
Thanks everyone. Valerie, I am working on another version of this that you may like better. We shall see!
I love love love the font u used!...but I'm not so keen on the hand coming out...just me
nice one. just a couple things i'd adjust. i read "waftare" cuz the r is touching in a weird spot so it looks like an f. also, the brushed font isn't completely believable because of the repeated letters being exactly the same. if i'm going to us a brushed font, i'm going to tweak any letters that are repeated to give the illusion that it is real brushing, rather than a font. lastly, i used to love the idea of black on charcoal, but the charcoal is unpredictable, sometimes it's too dark, sometimes it's too light, and depending on how it prints, the black may blend in too much with the charcoal. might be cool to put some of that cream color in the letters so it's still legible just in case the charcoal and black end up blending a lot. just a thought.
awesome
I love the hand coming out of the grenade dude! Zack I have missed you man even on FB...Always love your work my friend nicely done
