Design description

Ephesians 4:2 tells us to "Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love." Inspired by retro-style prints and art from the 1950's and 1960's, I couldn't help but think of a play on the word "bear". Sometimes we all need a big bear hug, and it's a great way to show that we love one another, just like these bears are doing!

I'm so glad this won!! I can't wait to own it, I just bought your "Stand Firm" shirt in at the c28 in Temecula. It's awesome, I wore it at the marriage retreat me and my hubby just went to this weekend. Anyway, congrats!! Keep up the great designing!

I forgot to add on my last comment that I think you should make a guy's version of this. I know the shirt has hearts and stuff on it but I think it could still work as a guys shirt, I don't think it's too girly.

thanks everyone for the amazing feedback! I was definitely going for a retro, vintage woodcut/ letterpress feel, hence the texture and imperfections. I can assure you, there will be no 'dirtiness' on the shirts- just a little texture. I just love designs with a little bit of grunge. ;)

Love the design, but the yellow of the tee looks dirtied around the design, which would put me off buying it...

I like this a lot!! I like cartoon designs that aren't cheezy...you definitely did a good job with this one. Still reminding me of some of Jedidiah's style of designs.

Talk about wordplay! I love this design for several reasons. First of all it's message is extremely vital and greatly portrayed through the artwork. Secondly, I've been deeply studying Ephesians this month and if you check out the verses on my shirts, you'll see they've lately been from there. Lastly, if hand drawn, those bears rock! haha great job. 5 all the way! (:
