well i'm glad your stoked! as for critiques, i think for your endures forever design, that purple is a great choice of base color, but the black text might come out too dark. maybe either a lighter purple or maybe white or yellow text. but you are definitely growing as a designer, that's for sure!

Hey thanks for the nice comments on my website! unfortunately, many of the things I design are purchased and then never seen again, as many are for clients all over the world (like Maui & Sons) or don't get printed, or... what pieces were you specifically interested in and I can tell you if they did or did not get printed (to my knowledge)? ;)

do you have the file open? do you try and move it when it's uploading? make sure it's not open while you're uploading it. then try restarting you computer. :)
that's it? you can either compress it and email it or create a free account on mediafire.com. then zack can go to your file's url and download it. i don't see how it's too big to email though...
how big is the file? you could try compressing it in a .zip or .rar file, or if it's under 200mb you can upload it to like mediafire. as for my christmas, it was awesome!

Ya the thumbnail image that you animated was what I was wondering about I knew you did the design... :) what program did you animated your thumbnail with ? Is that your first design you have tried on threadless ? I did two Retro Jesus that I did on here and than I reworked my tree one that I wish would oof done well on here but they had it up for 24 hours and pulled it early they said its in the clause that if your design had a low percentage and I would buy clicks that they end it early.. I was not happy I think its a little unfair that they do that... But what do you do.. I had friends that could not vote till later that ended up not being able to vote.. There are two other sites if your interested that I am going to put designs on one is Designed By Humans /www.designbyhumans.com and www.teefury.com if your interested anyway see ya.. :)

Yeah I'm excited about the vintage contest too. It definitely brought out your true talent, seriously it just seems like your design skills have exploded! Thanks to your inspiration I am trying pop art for the first time...I have tried cartooning of diff styles many times and always failed. Crazy thing is I could do realistic portraits before I could even attempt cartoons. But I'm trying it again--and I never thought I'd try this kind of cartoon (I used to actually make fun of how stupidly emotional the Lichtenstein style cartoons were in the funny papers..lol), but it actually might be a style I can do halfway ok. And it's surprisingly kind of fun. I am also going to be trying some other vintage stuff from the 50s. That was my first idea. I don't know how much of any of this will end up on Canvas though lol :)
As a response to your comment on my 'Confess' design. I actually don't use gimp, I just feel sometimes things need not be complex, but simplified, hence the grunge retro black cross, and white 'Jesus Is Lord' message. Some things were meant to be read in black and white, it opens the eyes further of those who may be deep thinkers, more so than the multitude. Seeing it all in black and white, and clear as day. I'm sure you're familiar with the expression. =]
keep looking! you will find it! ps is hard to learn at first but once you get it it is soooo much fun! :)

well the paint bucket tool, to find it, well lemme back up a minute. all the icons on ur toolbar. well there are a lot more that you can't even see! just right click one of those icons, and a thing should come out telling you which icon you want to display. one of those has the paint bucket tool, i believe it is on the same button as the gradient tool. i hope this helped, and i don't want to be a girl any time soon! lol!

No, I'm not for Obama. Or anybody for that matter. I think I know which print you're talking about though. It's just repeating blocks of Obama's face in different colors right? For me personally, art comes before politics. If there was an amazing painting of a president I didn't like I'd probably buy it just because I love the art so much.

you know what's funny is that when i started designing, i didn't even know that checkered areas meant transparent. i just thought it was a cool design already there for me lol. so then i would take a t shirt pic from the sub kit, and just outline it, then fill it with a paint bucket to get the color shirt i wanted. (and layers didn't exist to me yet) so if i wanted to make changes i would have to start all over! so i guess it's safe to say that we have both come a LONG way... :)

Hey there, no problemo with the comments, I gotta comment what I liek :0). as for Zack making more designs, I'm not exactly sure what he is doing right now. I know that his low scores made him a little upset, kinda like people weren't voting too honestly and he worked really hard on those shirts so I think he is taking some time off of submitting but he will continue to design but try and perfect everything before submitting. so dont worry he's not gone! haha. as for you needing to have somewhat proffesional looking shirts, I believe it takes some time to improve and you are most deffinately improving with every shirt, that goes for everyone, practice makes perfect, your day will come when you really start getting good and you can use your designs to spread the word :) :)until then, good luck and keep designing for the Lord, no one appreciates it more then he does! Hey Valerie, uh, ya i do like the design...lol...You might try adding some kind of element to the design. Maybe sine texture or vintage feel to it. A different placement might suit it well. want to work on it together? if so, shoot me an email---- Zfakta@yahoo.com and we can give it a shot!
You know what change that I like how the guitars get smaller going upward. If Bass and Life were smaller than Jesus, maybe?
I was looking at your bass shirt. I think if you had bass images and they were smaller as they cascade down the tee you would have a def print/winner.

hmmm how to make them better? idk about that, but if i were u, id use a similar doodle technique to make more shirts with different slogans. bcuz i really like the jesus freak look u made, and id want more than one shirt that looks similar, but i wouldnt want them all to say the same thing. i think that design would work with a ton of other sayings

If your interested lets collaborate on your Cell phone design I believe it to have GREAT potential just needs the right art for pop culture.
I drew it in illustrator. I took a picture and basically traced it and edited it until i liked it. Took about 8 hours or so.
